Lindsey is committed to bringing natural horsemanship to your focus and helping you do better! Lindsey teaches you how to understand and work with horses, because once you understand the language of horses you can be safer, more confident, and more successful when interacting with horses.
Lindsey Forkun Equestrian provides natural horsemanship services and information. Services include lessons, horse training, horse whispering demonstrations, clinics, agent services for purchasing or selling a horse, consultation services, classifieds for horses for sale or lease, and written works such as articles and Lindsey’s book on natural horsemanship.
Lindsey’s clients have a wide range in experience from the first time beginner, to the advanced or intermediate rider. Lindsey also works with clients of all ages from as young as 5 years old to many adult equine enthusiasts. The horses that Lindsey works with also are very diverse, from back yard pleasure horses to ‘A circuit’ show horses, also from unbroken horses to experienced horses. Some horses that Lindsey works with have ‘problems’ and Lindsey works
to solve these issues such as biting, bolting, bucking, and many other bad behaviours. Lindsey also provides services for English, Western and Gaited disciplines. Lindsey specializes in hunter/jumper competition, but also has training and competition experience in other disciplines.
For those that do not have their own horse, Lindsey provides English/hunter/jumper services through York Equestrian Riding School, and western/pleasure/trail/ground games services through
Pleasure Valley. Lindsey also has some part boarding opportunities with her personal horses. Contact Lindsey for more information and availability about these limited part boarding opportunities.
Lindsey Forkun Equestrian provides free-lance services where Lindsey will travel to your home or farm. Most services are primarily provided in the Durham and York Regions of Ontario, with a focus on the towns of Pickering, Uxbridge, Stouffville, Aurora, Whitby, Orono, Bowmanville, Zephyr, and Sunderland, as well as services to the cities of Toronto and Oshawa. Some services are available provincially, nationally, and/or internationally. Please contact Lindsey with your needs to find out what is available to your area.
