- Lindsey is scheduled for a May 21 Demonstration and Clinic event at York Equestrian Riding School in Stouffville, Ontario.
- Lindsey is scheduled to attend the May 15 Everything Equine Trade Show in Uxbridge, Ontario to provide a one hour demonstration and education piece to the spectators, along with another 15 minute demonstration partnered with grand prix dressage rider Karin Davis.
- Lindsey’s Article ‘Free Jumping’ was published in the March edition of Horse Canada: Horse Power magazine.
- Lindsey participated in the ‘Horse Experts Forum’ in Goodwood, Ontario as the horse expert on Natural Horsemanship for an evening workshop on March 3, an event hosted by the Uxbridge Horsemen’s Association.
- Lindsey attends the Uxbridge Horsemen’s Association February 9 meeting and answered questions on Natural Horsemanship to the attending members.
- Lindsey’s Article ‘Why Go Natural’ was published in the January edition of Horse Power magazine as part of the Canadian Horse Annual edition.
2009
- Lindsey appears at Blue Heron bookstore in Uxbridge on December 17th for the official book launch of her first title ‘Natural Horsemanship: Answering the What, Why, and How for ALL Disciplines’. The event featured free book signing, special discount pricing on the book, a chance to meet Lindsey and ask any questions about natural horsemanship, and free refreshments. The event was well attended by a variety of kids and adults from the Durham Region and York Region communities.
- Lindsey Forkun Equestrian launched it’s new information site ‘Everything Equine’ which features information about natural horsemanship, discussion forums, directories, horse training questions and answers, and more! www.eequine.net
- Lindsey appears in a front page article, ‘Local Horse Whisperer Launches Book’ in ‘The Uxbridge Cosmos’ newspaper in an article by Lisha Cassibo on December 3rd. The Uxbridge Cosmos circulates 8600 copies.
- Lindsey appears on Daytime TV with Rogers Cable in a 7 minute clip speaking about natural horsemanship and her new book ‘Natural Horsemanship: Answering the What, Why, and How for ALL Disciplines’. The clip features a 3 minute demonstration of Lindsey practicing natural horsemanship with a client’s horse, Ellie. The clip aired Thursday, November 12, 2009. The clip then aired on lfequestrian.com, facebook.com and youtube.com receiving multiple views. Watch the video.
