LFE VIP Card Holder Benefits:
- Incredible savings on lessons: only $25/hr for a private lesson, or $20/hr for a group lesson (regular $40/hr!)*
- Incredible savings on lesson packages: only $225 for a 10 lesson package (regular $360!)*
- Incredible savings on horse training: only $25/hr for single horse training sessions*
- Incredible savings on horse training packages: only $225 for a 10 hour training package (regular $360!)*
- 5% savings when shopping from the LFE store (through email or in person orders)
* Additional charges for travel distance may still apply if you are requesting services further than 30 minutes (40km) from Uxbridge, Ontario.
* Lesson and horse training discount pricing is only applicable when purchased directly through Lindsey Forkun Equestrian. When dealing with affiliates such as York Equestrian Riding School or Pleasure Valley, their pricing still applies to the services they offer.
* A VIP Card Holder may not purchase lessons/training for another person. The lessons/training must be for their own use.
How the Program Works:
- You can purchase a LFE VIP Card* for $150 (please fill out a LFE VIP Card Application Form)
Or
- You can receive a LFE VIP Card* for FREE if you demonstrate commitment to learning natural horsemanship with Lindsey Forkun Equestrian by meeting the following criteria:
- Receiving services from Lindsey Forkun Equestrian over a minimum of one year
- Logging 100 hours of training/lessons from Lindsey Forkun Equestrian (this includes hours as part of clinics, lessons, training, part boarding, or other educational activities)
* Your LFE VIP card remains active every year provided:
- You participate in 10 hours of clinics, lessons, training, part boarding, or other educational activities provided by Lindsey Forkun Equestrian within the calendar year.
If you do not participate in 10 hours of clinics, lessons, training, part boarding, or other educational activities provided by Lindsey Forkun Equestrian within the year, your LFE VIP card becomes inactive (unusable). You can reactivate your status at any time, and will be issued a new LFE VIP Card by either:
- Logging 25 hours of clinics, lessons, training, part boarding, or other educational activities provided by Lindsey Forkun Equestrian (your hours are accumulated from the time your LFE VIP Card became inactivated and you may take as long as you like to accumulate your 25 hours. Upon logging your 25th hour, you will receive a new LFE VIP Card. You must log your own hours and submit the tracking sheet to Lindsey Forkun Equestrian upon completion.
Or
- Paying a $50 reactivation fee to Lindsey Forkun Equestrian
Your membership is active for one year from the date you are issued your card.
For example, if you were issued your card on April 1, 2010, you can enjoy all of the discounts offered to LFE VIP Card holders from April 1, 2010 to April 1, 2011. If you log 10 hours with Lindsey Forkun Equestrian by April 1, 2011 then you can continue enjoying the discounts with your LFE VIP Card for another year because your card will remain active.
Your LFE VIP Card is for your use only.
How to Log Your Hours:
- Download the LFE VIP Log Sheet Form below (or ask Lindsey to either email you a copy, mail you a copy, or bring a copy to your next lesson/appointment)
- Bring your log sheet when participating in activities, lessons, clinics, training, and any other educational opportunities from Lindsey Forkun Equestrian and have Lindsey Forkun or an employee of Lindsey Forkun Equestrian sign your log sheet after completion of your participation.
- Once you have logged your 100 hours, submit your log sheet(s) to Lindsey Forkun Equestrian for review, and once validated, you will receive your free LFE VIP Card! Be sure to remember to submit your mailing address and contact information!
Points to Remember:
- You may also submit every log sheet as you complete them to Lindsey Forkun Equestrian (even if you have not reached your 100 hours), and Lindsey Forkun Equestrian will store your completed log sheets for you (in case you are worried about losing them once completed)
- Hours can only be back logged by 30 days, meaning that if you forget to get your log sheet signed on the day of your participation, you can still get Lindsey Forkun or an LFE employee to sign your log sheet within 30 days of the activity. After 30 days from your participation, those hours cannot be logged.
- The signature must be from either a) Lindsey Forkun or b) a Lindsey Forkun Equestrian employee that was present at the event/activity you are having them sign for.
- Your hours never expire, and you can log them for as long as it takes to receive your LFE VIP Card.
- When logging hours over clinics/full day events, lunch breaks and breaks will not be included in the logged hours, only hours spent learning will be counted.
- Hours cannot be logged in anything smaller than half hour increments.
- Hours can be logged when participating in lessons/training through York Equestrian Riding School, Pleasure Valley, and/or other affiliates provided the lesson/training is provided by services from Lindsey Forkun Equestrian.
- Hours may not be transferred to another person. Only the participant in the education opportunity may log the hours. In the event of horse training where no person is present for watching/learning, the hours can be designated to one person (the owner of the horse, the person paying for the training, or the handler/rider of the horse).
- Lindsey Forkun Equestrian is not responsible for logging your hours. If you wish to participate in this program, it is your responsibility to log your own hours. Lindsey Forkun Equestrian will only keep track of completed log forms that are submitted to Lindsey Forkun Equestrian. For your own records, you may choose to keep copies of your logged hours.
How to Submit Your Completed Log Forms & VIP Card Application Form:
- Please fill out the LFE VIP Card Application Form when you are ready to get your VIP card
- In person to Lindsey Forkun or a Lindsey Forkun Equestrian employee.
